Hi there! My name is Jennifer, I'm a 27 year old Irish woman who arrived in Toronto at the end of summer. As much as I've fallen in love with Canada there are parts of home that I miss, the biggest thing is being away from my wonderful family and the joy of spending my time with children. I come from a family of 8, with 12 amazing nieces and nephews from the age of 18 months to 21 so I have great hands on experience! I love the outdoors and have an affinity towards animals as my educational background is in Animal Science. I also have work experience as an activity coordinator in an English language school back in Ireland working with teenagers from the age of 12 - 17. Activities with me can include trips to Botanic Gardens, days at the zoo or farm, long walks (the harbour or the woods are favourites!), Irish story telling (I have plenty of books!), Irish dancing (15 years experience), singing, baking, with lots of energy left over to learn new games so I can hopefully learn about your culture too! The vast majority of my professional experience is in restaurant management which taught me skills such as good time management, providing training and support for staff, as well as presenting me with opportunities to practice patience, kindness, compassion and good manners. I have loved each and every job that I have held over the years, but it is time for a change and the most fulfilling thing I can think of right now is to give my time, my skills and my energies to a new family.
