Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello! I am a recently graduated UBC student, and have been working with children for multiple years. I am currently working with the university, and am interested in part-time work, either on a consistent basis or casually as needed. I am an active, easy going person that can adapt to multiple situations. Some of my hobbies include snowboarding, mountain biking, cooking and gardening/farming. As a teenager I taught ballet to children aged 4-12 for several years, and babysat throughout high school. In more recent years I have been employed as a nanny for two children school aged children, worked as full time support for a family member and her 2 young children and worked casually with deaf children and children with disabilities while doing field research in Uganda. I love working with kids, seeing them figure out the world around them and explore the things we adults sometimes take for granted. I have a reliable vehicle and 7.5 years of driving experience with no accidents. I love to cook and bake, and also enjoy doing work around the house. My recent experience nannying has mostly been with school aged children, but I am perfectly comfortable with younger children as well, and have some experience babysitting and caring for infants!
