Nanny in St. Thomas, Ontario

I am a Child and Youth Worker/mom to a teen boy. I believe in attachment based parenting/childcare. I have 20 years experience with children and youth and approximately 15 years direct nanny experience. I am extremely organized, outgoing, friendly and responsible. I am passionate about car seat safety and have a vehicle in order to participate in play groups/visits and run errands. I can provide excellent references and would love to discuss a potential fit with your family. For the past 5 summers (and periodically within the school years) have worked with a family with 2 children. One of the boy’s has special needs, is non verbal and requires a feeding tube. I had a delightful experience with an infant - - My little friend and I met when he was 5 weeks old. At 18 months his parents decided they'd like him to experience care outside the home and he was off to Daycare! Prior to that I was with a family for 6 years! I’m currently an Educational Assistant with TVDSB. I have the summer off and would be interested in helping a family part time.
