Nanny in Georgetown, Ontario

My name is Laura, I am a grade twelve student. I love working with children I hope to one day be a primary/junior teacher or a tutor and would like experience with all types of children. I have had some experience, but I\'d love any chance to get more. I am gentle, trustworthy, patient and understanding yet can be firm when needed. I am most comfortable around 18 months and above, I want to be a nanny/sitter due to my love of children. I was a volunteer student teacher at a daycare from November up until June in the school age classroom (ages 6-10). While there I helped supervise kids, handed out snacks, played games with them and helped with school work. Occasionally I was with all age groups and read to the younger kids. I also did a co-op program at an elementary school with grade sixes and occasionally grade fives, there I helped with school work and create workbooks. My neighbours are between the ages of 2 and 6, I watch them sometimes when parents are busy and keep them entertained.
