Nanny in Burlington, Ontario

My name is Courtney. I have been caring for family and friend\'s children since I was 14 years old. I love caring for and helping out people who need it. I am expecting my first child in November. I am only available to work for the month of July in Burlington. I would love to help in anyway I can. Thank you. I have many years of experience with children from newborn to the age of 10. Currently I am working as a supervisor with the YMCA School Aged Child Care. I have had 2 years experience with them. I run a before and after school daycare program for 25 children ages 6-8. We provide healthy snacks for the children, a variety of games and crafts and lots of gross motor activities. My job is to ensure the safety and well being of these children and to take disciplinary action if needed. ( I personally like to use the 123 take five method then sit down and talk about it.) Another part of my role is to make sure everything is clean and sterilized. I have also attended a number of professional developments through the YMCA. I take great pride in my job and enjoy working with children.
