Nanny in Coquitlam, British Columbia

Hi, my name is Ella. I'm a nanny who is capable and look forward to helping your family. I love the outdoors, baking, games, crafting and reading books. I am patent, outgoing, imaginative, and love creating exciting activities and games to do with children. I also love cooking and baking. I am an avid book worm and one of my favorite things share my favorite childhood books with kids. I am in college at the moment studying American Sign Langauge. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I don't mind working in the evenings throughout the week or on Sundays. However, I am unavailable an Saturdays and THursday evenings and I already look after a little girl on those days. My experience. I worked in a daycare for two years and I have also worked for community service programs doing childcare for programs like Mothercare ( making lunch for new mums and helping hold and take care of newborns while mums have a break) and Nobody's Perfect ( playing and entertaining children while their parents listen to lectures and do activities together) In 2020 I moved to the United Kingdom and became an au pair in Scotland for 3 boys, aged 6 months, 7, and 10 years. I stayed with my family as a live-in nanny/au pair for 1 1/2 years. I then moved down to London and looked after two children 6 and 8 years. I learned so much in my experience abroad and it made me want to work with children in the future. I am still in contact with both my host families and both my families and community services will provide references. I became a nanny in Vancouver last spring for a 10 month girl. I am still in this familys life however, the little girl is now in daycare so they do not need me as much. They are also happy to provide references. I currently run a sing an design storytime for families with young children near Lougheed and I love engaging parents and babies through books, songs and ASL/baby sign. I have red cross emgency childcare first aid certificate and am CPR certified. I do not own a car so I will be taking public transit. I am triple covid vaccinated.
