Hello there! I am Yashaswi (but you can call me Yash), an experienced nanny located in Ottawa, Ontario, on the lookout for a loving family to help care for. With a passion for nurturing and guiding children, I am skilled in providing care for infants and primary school-aged kids. I'm currently completing my degree in Neuroscience and Mental Health (with a minor in Psychology) at Carleton University and hope to one day specialize in children's neurological research. My passion for kids is what's led me to that decision. I have experience as camp leader, babysitting in my neighbor during my adolescence, babysitting and taking care of my younger sister throughout her childhood, and as a tutor. Outside of my studies, I am passionate about nutrition and creativity. I love to bake, make elaborate but healthy meals, and paint. I am adept at providing a safe and nurturing environment, engaging children in educational and fun activities, and ensuring their well-being at all times. Additionally, I am more than happy to assist with housekeeping, meal prep, and pet care (I personally have two cats of my own) to support your family's needs. I am flexible in my hours but I am primarily available in the afternoon 4 - whenever, or early mornings. My hourly rate is $20.00, and I am open to negotiation.
