Nanny in Comox, British Columbia

I’m the mother of 4 beautiful, super sweet kiddos (age 2, 4, 6 and soon to be 10) and a childcare provider with over 15 years experience. I have been offering license not required care out of my home for many years now (and have 6 years of full-time, live-out nanny experience). I take on 1-2 children or a sibling group at a time for LNR care. I charge $10/hr for 1 child and $20/hr for a sibling group of 2-3 children. This rate includes all healthy, balanced, kid friendly meals and snacks, unless you prefer to pack a lunch/snacks for your child. I can accommodate gluten free and plant based diets as well. If you would prefer me to come to your house to care for your child/children and also help with household tasks, food prep, etc. my rate starts at $16.75/hr I strive to provide a safe, fun, engaging and nurturing space for all the children under my care. I have standard and infant first aid/CPR, clean driver’s abstract, clean criminal record, and many references upon request. I currently live in Powell River, but I’m planning to move to the Comox Valley within the next few months. Once I’m settled, I’m open to caring for children part time or full time. My children are friendly, gentle, sweet, super fun kiddos, and they’re wonderful with babies, toddlers and really, kids of any age. During the summer months all four will be under my care, but come September, my three girls will be in school full time and I’ll just have my son under my care for most of the day. My days with the children consist of lots of imaginative play, reading, arts and crafts, plenty of time outside, and sometimes we head over to Strong Start to play. Living a healthy, active, nature-rich lifestyle is important to me. Everyone is happier and the days run smoother when I incorporate fun adventures outside, so this means we regularly go for walks, head over to parks, the beach, etc. I have a minivan, extra car seats and boosters, and sometimes drive the children home at the end of the day if the parents request it.
