Hello! My name is Nyanda Able and I am originally from Seattle, WA. I have 5 years of nannying experience ranging from newborns to up to 10 years of age. I also have much experience dealing with multiple children at a time- up to four by myself. It has definitely been one of the most rewarding and fun jobs that I have ever experienced and I love being able to be a part of a child's development and be of help to their parents in helping them reach important milestones. Being a parent can be nerve-wracking and complicated, and I am happy to be one person to help alleviate the full-time working parents in knowing their children are safe and sound! As stated earlier, I have experience with newborns and infants. In this, I have experience in sleep-training. I love reading to the baby, singing and speaking to the baby in both Spanish and English, helping the baby to develop social skills by taking them on playdates with other babies, as well as creating and maintaining a consistent routine for feeding and sleeping. With regard to toddlers, I have successfully aided in potty-training three children. With toddlers, I love to help in speech development, social and communication skills, manners and cleanliness. I believe consistency and thoroughness are essential to successful child-rearing and childcare, and I look to be consistent and thorough in everything I do. I consider myself a very loving nanny; I aim to be someone a child can trust and look up to. I also am a firm believer that open communication between nanny and parent, as well as cooperating with each other can help the child to reach his/her fullest potential.
