Personal Profile: Hi there, I'm Cassandra! a fourth year student at McMaster university studying Social Psychology. I have extensive background experience working with children ages 0-14, with over 5 years experience as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, peer mentor, and more. I am available to begin working immediately. I come from a big family, and I've always felt like a second mom to my younger sisters. They're now 14 and 12 years old, and I've spent countless hours helping my parents with daily tasks like grocery shopping, school drop off and pickup, homework help, and cooking meals. Highlights of my experience working with children have been volunteering internationally. I spent time in Ecuador helping underprivileged children learn English and it was an incredible experience. I have also worked with children with physical and/or learning disabilities as a tutor. My last position as a full-time nanny was this past summer for a wonderful family of three (children were ages 2, 5, and 7 years old) and I am now seeking employment again. I am fluent in both English and Spanish which makes me well-equipped to work with diverse families :) I also am pet-friendly and love all kinds of animals!
