I have always loved being around kids, helping them learn and allowing them to be whatever they want to be. Growing up with two younger siblings as well as 16 cousins, there were always a lot of kids around. Myself being the fourth eldest so I did take care of all the younger ones majority of the time. Currently finishing my first year at university for health science, I am excited to work with a family this spring. I am CPR c and first aid certified. I have a lot of volunteer experience with local charities working with kids as well as placements in a elementary school classroom. During my years as a camp counsellor, I taught young ones about bike safety. We went through trail rides and played many educational activities. I have always loved swimming, taking lessons and advancing so quickly. I have a little chihuahua named Royce that I love with my heart, I'm a really big dog person!! I always like to engage the kids and educate them in a way that doesn't seem like work. Building relationships that allow children to be comfortable and feel safe around me is my main goal.
