Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Julia Macmillan, I am 24 years old. I graduated hospitality and restaurant management, I did have cooking classes so I know my way around the kitchen quite a bit (not a professional though 😅). I am mostly looking for a day time position but am open to evenings as well. I have a flexible schedule! My first language is French but I am bilingual, French and English. I live in Aylmer. I do have a car so it is easy for me to go wherever, when I need to. I smile a lot, I am responsible, on time, I love to help and I take initiative when I have an opportunity to do so! I have my CPR and First Aid. I can provide certificates. I also have a copy of my background check that I can provide proof as well. I love caring for children. As soon as I turned 12 y/o I took my babysitting course and was the neighborhood’s babysitter. I took a 3 months program in “summer camp animator”. I was a competitive cheerleader for 11 years and coached cheerleading to multiple youth teams. I was also a recreational horseback riding coach. I was a live in Nanny for 2 months in Alberta and part time, long term, live out Nanny for multiple families in Ottawa and Gatineau. My most recent position was a full time live out Nanny from December 2019 until May 2020. I left because I do have a property in Nova Scotia that I need to be present for during the summer. I am back (Ottawa/Gatineau) for a few months and the family that I was helping welcomed their second child, they are both at home and now only need part time help. That’s why I’m back on here to get some extra hours and help out an other family 😊 I know these are uncertain and stressful times. I do not go out much because of COVID. I limit my outings to groceries and essential errands with proper security measures such as masks and washing my hands often.
