Nanny in Peterborough, Ontario

It's always hard to say something that makes you stand out...at least for me it is. All I can say truly is, I'm really great with children, I love teaching them, and even learning from them. Having fun, while at the same time, keeping them safe and sound. It's what I'm best at. A little info about myself, I'm married, in my 50's and live in Peterborough. Very reliable, trustworthy, and have a positive outlook on life. It's not just a nanny job, or a housekeeping job to me...it's becoming part of an "extended family". I have taken care of kids literally since I was out of high school. which was a long time ago. but it seems like yesterday haha.. You're only as old as you feel, right :) I was a Nanny for several years, and then started to waitress as well. It was very hectic! My Nanny position that I was in, ended as the children were growing up, so I stayed waitressing. I loved waitressing, I did it for years. But it's just not where my heart was. So I came back to childcare. I love being a Nanny. Seeing a child you're taking care of, grow, and learn, and experience life and all the new things....it's amazing. It's very fulfilling. From taking their first steps and learning to walk, to saying their first words and learning to talk. Seeing them learn about shapes and colours and the alphabet, this is truly the best job you can get!! Once you get to know me, you'll see I am very kind, very loyal, trustworthy, and I have a great sense of humour :) I'm still in contact with several families that I worked for. One in particular, they bring their girls over for a visit every Halloween :) They still call me "Nana", and consider me family.
