Nanny in Kimberley, British Columbia

Hiya! My name is Brooke and I've been living in Squamish for the past 2 years but have found myself being pulled to Kimberley. I love your amazing town, finding like minded people and exceptional outdoor opportunities. While I have only be a nanny short term for a 3 year old boy with autism, I have been an on and off again nanny to my nephew for 2 years. I have worked in almost as many different fields than places, giving me a great ability to adjust easily and adapt quickly. From decorating cakes and landscaping, to walking 21 dogs off leash in the boonies alone! I live for learning! which is why I believe being a nanny will be the perfect job for me. Mixing my love for seeing children grow as well as evolving with them and always learning more about each other. My hobbies that would be an asset to your children are: -Foraging. I can teach your child about wild plants or just getting dirty in the woods and knowing the safety or danger of the plants around us. -Hiking and Climbing. Taking your children on adventures, having the right equipment, to have fun safely. -Swimming. I love to swim at the pool and splash around and am always keen to play in the shallow end! I have a vehicle and license however it is a 2 seater so therefore unfit for any children that require a booster (safety) seat. My sister was born with Type 1 diabetes and it is something I am very comfortable with and confident in difficult situations. I have a 2 year old dog that is very well behaved around children and very gentle. It is not required for me to bring him but is a HUGE asset for me to be able too.(: I’ve added a picture of my nephew and dog to show how gentle he is! He regularly lets this toddler crawl over him and look in his mouth. I hope that you feel I can be a good fit for your family.
