Nanny in Etobicoke, Ontario

Hi Everyone! My name is Caylee and I am currently seeking part time to full time employment in or near Etobicoke, ON as a live out Nanny (RECE). I offer flexible work hours/days. Working with children is one of my true passions in life! Working in childcare is more than a job for me, it is what I have dedicated my career to doing. From a young age, the only career path I could see myself doing was working within the childcare field. My grandmother was an in home childcare provider for many years, in 2020 she celebrated 50 years of service doing in home childcare. I grew up in her in home childcare and I have gained valuable insight and knowledge over the years. I have over 5 years of experience in the childcare field, with children from infancy up to age 12. My experience involves working in a variety of childcare settings including day care centres, before and after school programs located in TDSB Junior schools and multiple years of volunteer experience with in home childcare. Qualifications: -Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Humber College -Registered with The College of Early Childhood Educators -First Aid/CPR Level C Certifications -Police Reference Check -Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 (plus flu shot) I am adept in creating and implementing new and fun activities and experiences and promote active and healthy lifestyles. I understand the importance of building positive, caring and responsive relationships with children and that it is an essential piece of the foundation for early learning and development. With my personal and educational background combined with work experience in childcare, I’m confident in my abilities to identify and support the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of children while providing them with opportunities for learning and development through play. In March of 2020 when the pandemic began until January of 2022, I have been home assisting both my 8 year old daughter and 6 year old nephew with virtual school.
