I have a passion for working with children. It is not just a job but what I love to do. There is no greater satisfaction than knowing I am making a positive difference in the lives of children. I have had extensive amount of experience working with children of all ages and I believe I possess the perfect qualities of an extraordinary level of patience, enthusiasm, creativity, and, above all, a love of children to be the perfect childcare provider. I have spent many years volunteering and working with children in various environments. From volunteering at the local library, Hospice Caledon and coaching gymnastics and soccer for many years, each experience has strengthened my knowledge and capabilities in the teaching profession. In addition, I worked full time in a daycare and for 2 summers I worked for the Town of Caledon Summer Camp Program. I am currently completing my final year of the Early Childhood Education Program and working part time at the Jean Tweed Center as a day care supervisor. The Early Childhood Education Program at George Brown College has provided me with formal training and taught me thorough knowledge of E.C.E. theory, practice and issues and the proven ability to implement effective curriculum and guidance strategies and strengthened my commitment to diversity and equity.
