I come from a very large family. With over 40 cousins, some of which have children of their own, being around children and taking care of them has been a part of my life my entire life. I find children so much fun because I must be a child at heart. At the same time, I have had a lot of first aid training and water safety training that I know how to handle high stress situations and how to deal with possible injuries if they occur. Being a kinesiology student I feel very strongly about children living healthy and active lives. I will provide them with good meals and a lot of activity during the day so that they get the most out of their childhood. Thank you for considering my application. I have worked as a swim instructor for the past 5 years. Being an swim instructor I help give feedback and work on skills with children. It also entails playing games with them and helping them try new things. I volunteer with the Maritime Heart Association Heart Healthy Kids program.
