I have worked as an administrative assistant for sixteen years in the provincial government and I am now pursuing a career change. I am a friendly, patient, kind and compassionate person who delights in serving others. I love children and being able to nurture the best in them and spend quality time with them. I realize what an enormous responsibility looking after the emotional and physical well-being of your children is and I believe that I am fully capable to fulfill this need. This basically entailed picking him up from day care in my car and taking him to the park or back to his home to play, make dinner for him and his eleven year old sister and do occasional grocery shopping or errands as needed. I have also looked after my friend's four year old for the day - taking him downtown on the bus, going to the petting zoo and the Undersea Gardens and returning him home. My best friend is a foster mom to three children (a newborn girl, two and four year old boys)and her adopted four year old son and we all spend one day a week together - going to lunch, playing at the park or home, and going for walks or shopping.
