Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

I am a 23 year old extrovert who loves music, sports and cooking. I have a fiance who is 25 years old who I met in University and we are planning to get married Summer 2024! I am the oldest of 4 and although I am not their mom, I have definitely worn the "mommy hat" as the role of the oldest sibling. I am a very family oriented person. I have an 8-year-old sister, 13-year-old brother and 21-year-old brother who have taught me a lot about responsibility. My parents are married business owners in Rockland, ON and Orleans, ON. I attended a private Christian post-secondary institution called Tyndale University in Toronto, ON. I have a Bachelors Degree in Music and minor in English (graduated in May 2023), and a Graduate Diploma in General Christian Studies (Graduating May 2024). I am back living in Ottawa, ON and going to Algonquin College in September 2024 for Marketing. I genuinely love and care for children. Working with kids has brought me joy and has always been a passion of mine. I have a servants heart and I do my best to go above and beyond expectations. I thrive in a family setting and I have always treated the kids that I nanny as if they were my own. I'm protective, compassionate, bubbly, organized and creative. I don't rely on technology as a primary form of entertainment unless specifically asked to implement by the parent/guardian. I have a dance and music background so I love to sing songs with the kids, play instruments, choreograph dances etc. If the weather permits, I like doing things outdoors together like going for walks, playing at the park, going to the zoo, playing jumprope, going for a bike ride or drawing with chalk. I have years of experience and certification. I have been babysitting since the age of 10 after I had earned a babysitters course certificate. I also have CPR and First Aid certification as of June 2023. I have worked with a variety of ages (under 1 and up to 14) over the years, and I have experience working with special needs. Recently (September 2023 - April 2024) I was a part-time nanny for 5 girls (ages 6 - 14), in Toronto. But because I have moved, we sadly had to part ways. My duties include but are not limited to school pickup/drop off, house cleaning/chores, pet care, household laundry, making meals, helping with homework etc. I also have 2 years professional experience working in a kitchen as a line cook!
