Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi there! My name is Vanessa. I am a 24 year old teacher with a passion for childcare and education. I teach with CBE and have a nanny family that I will be with ~3 days a week this summer, but am looking for a position that may fill my other two days a week for July and August! I have extensive experience with children and have had four amazing nanny experiences working with babies, toddlers, children, and preteens. In my free time, I love to do all things outdoors as well as read, crochet, and play guitar. In Spring 2020, I graduated from Carleton University with a BA in Human Rights and Social Justice. In May 2022, I graduated from the University of Calgary with my Inclusive Elementary Education degree. I have a wide range of experience working with children through babysitting, tutoring, volunteering, teaching, and nannying long-term with several families. I am first aid and CPR certified (recently renewed) and I have my full drivers license as well as my own vehicle. I’m addition to my nanny experience, I have also been a housekeeper for two different families and am known for my love for cleaning, so I am would be happy to take on additional responsibilities if need be. English is my first language, but I also graduated with my French Immersion certificate and can speak French fluently (while I would not go as far to say I am completely bilingual.)
