Hello my name is Larissa. Who I Am: I'm trustworthy sitter/nanny with lots of experience working with children. I have graduated from Vancouver Island University with a degree in Child and Youth Care. I have lots of experience working with children and references! I can cook, clean, or do almost anything that you require from me. My experience includes: -dance class teacher for children ages 3-9 -volunteer at elementary schools running certain activity groups -babysitter/nanny for several families -support worker for a 5 year old child with ADHD -support worker for a 8 year old child with ADHD and violent behaviours -respite care provider for a family of 3 high needs children including: ADHD, Depression, and Austism. -nanny for several families in the Nanaimo area on Vancouver Island. I have my ECEA certification, emergency childcare first aid, food safe, and various additional certifications from short courses (positive parenting, trauma-informed practice, etc.) In my free time I enjoy exploring new areas of Vancouver Island, hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
