My name is Jessica, I’m 20 and I started babysitting when I was 13 years old. I know I’ve always had a passion for wanting to work with children because, I believe you can help shape a child’s life in a positive way by being supportive, helpful and guiding them in the right direction while still being able to show them how to have fun and enjoy life. I have always been a very energetic, happy person and I’ve always loved to help out in any way that I can whether it’s helping with homework, play time, meal prep or even cleaning around the home. Some of my experience is, in the year 2011 I got the opportunity to be in a co-op placement at Prince of Wales Public school working with younger children ages 4-6 in a kindergarten classroom, giving me the chance and experience to work a large group of younger children. I’ve also got the opportunity to work with an amazing family with 3 children, and 2 dogs for a couple months on weekends in 2014 until I was no longer needed. Lastly, I was in the Child and Youth Worker program for 2 years at Algonquin College, before deciding to switch into Early Childhood Education which I'm currently attending in my first year. I am available: Monday until 1pm Tuesday until 5pm Wednesday until 1pm Thursday after 4pm Friday until 12pm, Saturday - Sunday, all day
