Hi there! I am a very responsible but fun and outgoing person. I love to be active and do physical activities. I am the kind of sitter that will go play WITH them. For me watching children is not a chore, or a burden, it's exciting and can be a lot of fun! I have a certificate in PSW (Personal Support Work) and have some experience caring for adults in nursing and retirement homes. I also have 10 years of personal experience which is ongoing, as I have just recently welcomed two new additions to my extended family where I have played the part of child occupier and care taker most of my life. I have cared for up to 4 of my younger siblings or cousins at a time. I am used to doing all kinds of chores around the house like sweeping, mopping, dishes, vacuuming, light cooking and tidying up. I have really enjoyed these years growing up with my family and I hope that I can be a part of your family as well. I am part of a very large close-knit family with about 15 grandchildren. Growing up, I was the second oldest of the grandchildren by about 5 years. Being the second oldest meant that I was often left as care taker and role model for all of the younger children. I was constantly looking after and taking care of all my cousins, whether it was babysitting or just helping out at family functions to try and calm the children, or to occupy them with some games or stories. This situation has allowed me to take care of children of all ages, right from newborn, into the terrible two's all the way up to high school. I honestly love kids, I love their innocence and their ability to use their imagination. I have always enjoyed playing pretend, making sandcastles, or just some good old fashioned running around.
