I have been working in childcare for just over three years. I began with babysitting three children, ages 2-7 for two summers. I currently work for the Lindsay Boys and Girls Club where I am a camp leader for groups of 15 kids ranging from ages of 5-12. During my time in childcare I have supervised, guided and assisted students during crafts, games and other activities to provide developmental stimulation. I have monitored children’s behavior during activities, effectively handling discipline situations and encouraging positive behaviour. I have earned First Aid, CPR, and High Five certifications with emphasis on children's treatment protocols enabling me to keep children safe in all situations.
