Hi, I am a certified teacher looking for occasional work. I am currently a student services teacher (social emotional and other skill work with students on the spectrum) and a gym teacher. I’ve worked with all age groups and subjects over the years, mostly elementary levels. I have a BA majoring in English and a secondary BEd minoring in elementary studies. I really love working with kids and I've been doing it for about 10 years now. I am warm, engaging, caring and I love to be silly. What I don't know already I'd love to be taught; I learn quickly and with enthusiasm. I love having fun and joking around but I understand the importance of your child's safety. I am available for summer childcare or tutoring. If you and some friends or family members want to save money on childcare, and have your children socialize and practice social emotional learning this summer, (something so incredibly important, but can't be taught online) I can provide a camp-like setting for a couple of families that want to join their bubbles. I have several years of experience designing safe, engaging camp curriculum. In a traditional camp or classroom setting I am responsible for the safety of 12-28 children in unknown environments.
