Hey guys, I am an experienced babysitter and have had multiple summers of experience as a camp counselor. Currently I am taking Child & Youth Work at Algonquin College so that I can expand my love for children into a career as I grow older. I love sports, like hockey and soccer, and being active. One year I worked at an overnight camp with underprivileged children aged 6-12. For the last two summer I have worked at a summer camp run by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ottawa-Carleton (LDAO-C), where we planned a variety of social skill building activities for children aged 6-12 with learning disabilities. In the last 4 years I have babysat my neighbors, now five year old. I have also been responsible for caring for 8 children at a time (at a parents birthday party) and have been asked to use my camp counselor skills by taking these children to a local park. I am comfortable with a variety of ages of children and am familiar with many activities that children can participate in to enhance their learning.
