Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello there! My name is Bailey Brooke and I am currently studying to become a primary/junior teacher in the University of Ottawa's Bachelor of Education Program. I have recently moved to Toronto to complete my final practicum in a JK/SK classroom at High Park Alternative School. I am looking for a full time summer position starting May 1st, 2013. I absolutely adore working with young children and would love to build on my experience working for a family on a more personal level. When I was 18 I worked as an au pair (nanny) in Holland for one year. I looked after two young girls, aged 3 and 6 and my duties included all aspects of childcare. I have also volunteered as a tutor, working with children from grades K-8 and as a teacher's assistant in both a K and grade 2/3 classroom. Furthermore, I taught ESL to K/grade 1 students in Thailand this past year and I'm currently attending the University of Ottawa's Bachelor of Education Program. During this program, I completed a one month practicum, where I was a student teacher in a grade 3/4 classroom. I love kids and it is my dream to become a successful teacher!
