Hello parents! I am a graduate student at the University of Toronto working on my Master's and PhD in neuroscience and genetics. I babysat quite a lot during my last few years of high school and first few years of my undergraduate degree, and have really come to miss interacting with children regularly. I find children to be remarkable and I love learning from the uninhibited and unique ways that they think. I also understand how curious they are and try to nourish their minds by inspiring them to learn about and safely explore the world we live in. I respect all people, children included, and truly enjoy spending time with others. I would love to speak with you about your children to see if I am compatible with your/their specific needs. I babysat their daughter from the time when she was about 2 years old to 6 years old. Once every few months, I would also babysit her older brother and sister (ages 8 and 12, respectively). I have also been asked to supervise several children at once, ranging in ages from less than a year to pre-teen. I have always found these experiences incredibly enjoyable since I love interacting and learning from children. I have always been one of the older cousins in my extended family, so it feels very natural to be surrounded by younger children. I have also been a tutor for elementary and high school children for over 8 years and have often employed my teaching experience when babysitting.
