I have known Destinee most of her life, she is a strong leader and a great problem solver. I have seen her handle emergent situations calmly and professionally. I have had her come to my home twice for help post partum, the first time my third child was six months old and I was feeling overwhelmed by life, Destinee came for a little over a month and kept care of my oldest two, she took them on walks, played outside prepared nutritious snacks, read stories, made sure nap schedules were kept. Then when Destinee retured the second time, she helped with my three oldest children after the birth of my fourth. She was attentive, professional and fun. She ensured the children were well entertained by playing with them, doing arts and crafts as well as playing playdough. She spend ample amounts of time outdoors with the children as well, going on walks, supervising and encouraging them to ride their bikes, playing in the sprinkler. My children all loved Destinee. My children range from 5 years old to now 8 months old, Destinee was able to relate to each child on their interests as well as mitigate any disagreements the toddlers were having with ease and gentleness. I recommend Destinee to many families because of her zest for life and adventurous spirit she is able to make long days fun for children while keeping them safe, entertained and nurtured.
