Nanny in Kingston, Ontario

Hello! I am currently in Engineering at Queen\'s University, my current program will end for the summer in early May and I hope to find a full-time nanny position for the summer. I am an extremely energetic person and I pride myself on my friendliness. Though my work as a ski counselor, swim instructor and support provider for a child with a learning disability, I have learned excellent patience, responsibility and creativity skills. Ranging from ages 2-12, I adored all my students and still keep in touch with some of them to this day. I love to cook, bake and read but my passion is science. I love to learn new things and share my knowledge with others. I would often entertain my students with fun and safe (and clean!) science experiments. I have spent countless hours entertaining children through games, arts and crafts and story-times. I have no problem cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or running errands, in fact, it\'s my goal to be as useful as possible. I would love the opportunity to be a role model and friend to your children! Ski Instructor: Ages ranging from 3 to 14: Groups of 1 to 10 Duties: Responsible for children's safety of the ski trails Establishing a safe learning environment while instilling a love for skiing Breaks for lunch and snacks Blue Mountain Day Care: Ages: 2-6: Group of 5 per Sitter Worked in the daycare to help look after children that were not capable of skiing all day, or children of skiing parents Responsible for feeding them and putting them to sleep for their nap time Entertaining children throughout the day with games and stories Volunteer Lifeguard: Ages: 5-10: Groups: 8-10 Taught the basics of swimming including simple strokes and pool entries Ensured childrens' safety in and around the pool
