Hello families! My name is Valery, and I have just finished studying a year of International Development minoring in Human and Child development at the University of Guelph. My interests are human and international development, I enjoy reading and eating healthy and I like to make crafts (such as cards and letters). I am energetic, fun-loving, kind and very maternal. I believe that patience and sincere interest in children\'s growth and development are my greatest qualities as a nanny. Oh, and did I say fun?! I believe very strongly in the importance of play in the development and well being of a child. I am found to be very easy to get along with, and make friends very easily (especially with little ones!) I have a special love for 0-4 year olds. I had responsibilities of bathing him and putting him to bed and feeding him and getting him ready and picking him up from school, engaging him in stimulating games, and exploring his creativity with him. I've had experience with a range of ages, have cared for infants including feeding, changing, soothing, bathing I also spend a lot of time helping at a family daycare, and lead a sunday school program at my church for 3-5 year olds and alternate weeks in the nursary with 10 month - three year olds as well
