Hello, I am a 23 year old female currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education at OISE (University of Toronto) to become a primary/junior teacher. I have lots of experience with children as a swimming teacher, as a lifeguard I also have a lot of first aid training. I have worked as a swimming teacher for 9 years with student's with a wide range of ages and abilities. I have worked with large and small groups of children in a classroom capacity as well as an aquatic environment. Last year I completed my second science degree from McMaster University and have experience tutoring at a high school level. -Currently enrolled in Teacher\\\'s College at OISE (UT) and have completed a practicum with a grade 3 class. -Learn to Swim Program Summers 2007 - Present Operated my own successful private swimming school teaching children and adults to swim. Working with children from 18 months to 15 years old. -Certified Examiner for the Lifesaving Society 2005 - Present -Certified Swimming Instructor 2004 � Present Red Cross Instructor and N.L.S. lifeguard working with children from 18 months on. -Children�s International Learning Centre 2008 � Present A volunteer position that allows me to teach children acceptance and understanding of other cultures through interactive lecture and hands on activities as a programme facilitator. -The Girl Guides of Canada, Junior Leader for the Sparks division of Girl guides
