Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm El! I am a fun, energetic person who loves to look after children at a variety of ages and development levels. I finished my degree at Carleton University, majoring in child studies in 2020. I have almost twenty years of experience working in the field. In that time I have worked for a variety of families both full and part time I work with and have experience with children up to 9 years old. My passion is helping children to find themselves and their confidence from birth. I strive to show children how to be fully who they are and provide a gentle routine working with your child's personality/traits and the sibling dynamic. I love getting outside to parks, going to community activities, doing crafts and snuggling up for story time. I practice and model self-care for the children I look after. This means that having a work-life balance with lots of time to recharge so I can give my all to helping children learn to navigate this world. I am looking for 20-30 hrs/wk as I will be in school part-time as of September. I would create a daily or weekly routine with your child(ren) with an emphasis on outside play, arts, and independent play. Please message for further details.
