Hello! My name is Vicki Wannamaker and I am currently an aquatic supervisor at the Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira. I have plenty of experience with children including babysitting,day camps, overnight camps and swim lessons. I love working with children, who always like me back as I am able to tailor my personality towards each child's specific interests and needs. I love to organize fun activities for children and my favourite thing to do is put a smile on a child's face. I also enjoy teaching children as much as possible through everyday experiences. Real world education is vital to a child's development and I strive to be a positive role model and mentor. I have a car and am flexible on hours and rate. I have babysat a variety of ages from infants to teens, and also have experience with children with special needs and disabilities. I also worked at numerous children summer camps for roughly five summers. These camps prepared me to organize a variety of activities for children with diverse interests. Furthermore, my five years in aquatics as a lifeguard, swim instructor and aquatic supervisor have solidified my positive attitude and enthusiasm towards working with children.
