I'm an

Having obtained six years valuable experience working and liasing with children and young people on a regular basis, I have assisted in the execution of helping young children with their learning, play, education and social development. I have worked in alignment with the current EYFS curriculum, thus can provide excellent standards of care for children and parents. I can evidence the ability to build and promote children’s confidence, self respect and respect for others; I believe such traits are an integral part of constructing sound levels of socialisation to prepare children for their transition from nursery to school. I can demonstrate evidence of a responsible character; with that said I have been a key holder for the duration of my employment at my present company. I am going to be looking for a short term placement, where I can share my knowledge and give my full time and commitment to you and your family. In short I am a responsible, self motivated, and punctual individual. I strive to remain pro-active and committed, whilst maintaining a personable character. I have 6 years experience working with children from 6 months - 5 years at the same establishment working up from a trainee to a senior key person/senior nursery nurse. I also have experience working with children from the ages of 5 - 10 at a holiday club. My main duties at my previous position; - - Supervise staff on a daily basis - Abide by nursery policies and procedures - Monitor the maintenance of key persons records efficiently i.e. Registers, medicine, accident - Complete observations on staff in room and give constructive feedback - Complete risk assessments for room - Report any concerns to Manager of nursery or Deputy - Provide a high standard of hygiene and ensure all staff - Be a mentor to other members of the staffing team - Answer telephone/door in polite and courteous manor - Attend staff/room meetings - Liaise with parents and carers - Observe, assess and plan for children’s individual needs - Use the Early Years Foundation Stage to plan next steps for individual and group learning - Interact with the children and create experiences for them, which are original and unique - To assist in the preparation of food - To wash and dry kitchen pots/utensils and ensure their proper storage. - To assist in ensuring a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed. To report and problems to a senior member. I am currently residing in England, UK and I have obtained a Canadian work permit. I am interested in commencing work from 3rd December. I am NVQ Level 4 qualified, which holds the same weight and curriculum as the associated Canadian ECE qualification. This was achieved alongside 5 years of college education in the United Kingdom.
