I am an only child who has always loved children and wants a big family myself someday. I have experience in caring for children of various ages and it is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I am a fast learner and very flexible about my hours and services you and your family will require. I have endless patience for children and their needs. This allows me to stay calm in various situations with multiple children whether it is play time or preparing a meal. I am very hands on with kids and not the type to just sit back and supervise. If your kids would like me to sit on the floor and play their favourite board game for hours I am up for it. If they are quite happy to occupy themselves with drawing, legos or playing with each other I am happy to watch over them and fold some laundry or start preparing lunch. However just because I am very happy to play imagination games for hours does not mean I am a push over. I am firm and practical when it comes to following the household rules or accomplishing any tasks you would like done such as homework or chores. When looking after children I am unfamiliar with I try and find something to connect. This helps to create trust and a mutual respect between your child and myself. Creating this trust will help me to take care of your children so that they feel more comfortable with me. If hired it is my top priority to provide the best care possible what ever that means to you and your family.
