Nanny in Salmon Arm, British Columbia

Hello! I'm Melissa and I am looking for a full-time nanny position. I am passionate about working with children of all ages. I worked as a nanny in Scotch Creek for the majority of 2022, and have since been enrolled in an ECE program. My practicum will begin in late September, and I'll start working as an ECE at a daycare. I'm looking for work to fill this gap, as I love being a nanny and having one-on-one time with the children. My experience in Scotch Creek was life-changing. I was given the opportunity to work with a beautiful family and it brought me so much joy to watch their little one develop and grow. My passion and experience have grown as I study for my courses. I am looking forward to applying my skills to positively impact more children, and provide ease and comfort to parents as they can navigate their lives with the trust that their children are in good care. I consider myself to be very patient, a good communicator as well as a listener, and I am observant. I have experience advocating for children in Early Childhood environments; maintaining children's safety and enforcing the rights of children. I believe that all children deserve kindness and respect, and they will consistently receive that from me and others on my watch. My availability stretches throughout the week, I can be available for weekdays as well as weekends. I also have flexible hours, as all of my schoolwork is online. On Thursdays, I have an online synchronous class between 7:30-9 pm, however; I am still considered available during that time. Considering many moms and babysitters are attending my class, my instructor is supportive and understanding.
