PLEASE READ. *****About Me: Hello! My name is Anya and I'm hoping to find a caretaker job opportunity in Oakville, Burlington or Mississauga, Ontario. I am mainly looking for a flexible loving family to join where I plan to apply my long and hard-earned experience as a caregiver. - I am currently working as an ABA Therapist for minors with ASD and Down Syndrome at a center/clinic in Oakville. - I am currently a 4th year undergraduate Psychology Honours student at York University specializing in Child Psychology and Developmental Psychology. After I am done with my undergraduate, I am moving on to finishing 4 years of Medical school to become a child Psychiatrist. - I am triple vaccinated (both of the main Pfizer vaccines and the booster Pfizer shot) - I am CPR (all ages — infants, toddlers, children, adults) and First-aid certified and I have also dealt with children with allergies before so I am very familiar with Epipens and their usage. - I have my criminal record check ready for your convenience, but I also expect to receive one in return as we are both going to be under the same roof. - I have experience with children on the spectrum. - I have experience with trauma-induced mutism in children. - I have experience with ADHD children and behavioral therapy. *****Services And Training: - I am comfortable doing facilitating educational activities and homework help since I have a year and a half of experience with private tutoring and getting day-to-day homework done. - I do not own a car but I do have my G2 and personal transportation available. - I speak three languages (English, French and Arabic) fluently. - I am great with kids, very patient, know how to balance having fun and getting some serious work done, and I am very organized and neat. . - I know how to make basic and simple lunches in case of your absence. As for infants and toddlers, I have lots of experience with “first meals” for when you want to switch out that milk with some solids. - I was the chieftain of my school's boy scouts team made up of between 10-15 boys (ages between 6 and 13) for two and a half years and perfectly performed my job! So trust me, if I can take care of all of these boys at once, teach them multiple things and have endless fun while doing so, then I am more than capable of being your caregiver! If you’d like, I can help out with tidying the house up while you take care of the kids or vice versa. I am also available to babysit while you and your partner go for a much-needed date night! I am very trustworthy and have been babysitting in the evening for countless families over the course of two years.
