Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hi. My name is Maria and I am from London, UK. I am a Maternity/Baby Nurse and I was a nanny for about 17 years before training to be a maternity nurse in 2009. I love what I do and I get great satisfaction in working alongside parents, getting their little one onto a structured routine and sleeping through the night from around 3 months old, (apart from the dream feed at around 10/11pm). I have decided, after a great deal of thought, to move to Canada under the Live-in Caregiver Programe. I have relatives in Canada and have visited a few times. I love it there and would love to relocate. I feel I have a lot to offer a family. I love babies and children, am affectionate, loving, nurturing, reliable, honest, trustworthy, punctual and take my role as a nanny or maternity nurse very seriously. I am professional and work to a high standard. I have excellent references and trained with MNT in 2009. I also did Baby Sleep Training and Baby Care for Nannies, just to update my skills. Ideally I am looking for a loving and easy going family. It is very important to me, as it would be to any family, to have a very good working relationship with good communication. I would be happy to start with a family in a maternity role, helping mum from the early days after birth and working either days or nights, to give mum and dad a rest, and easing into a nanny role as the baby gets older and before mum goes back to work. Equally, I would be just as happy to start with a family with an older baby. I am open to options. My preference is a sole charge role with one baby or toddler. I will be available to relocate from April 2017, ideally in the Toronto area, but I am happy to be in any part of the country for the right position.
