Hello families of Guelph, Ontario! I'm Carroll Joy, an energetic mother and grandmother, with a cheery disposition. I have a lot of experience providing gentle love, and patient encouragement. I am trustworthy, reliable and committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment. I am not a fan of TV or electronics, but prefer indoor / outdoor play activities to help develop their creative talents and abilities. I homeschooled my own children while running a tutoring company, teaching young children to read using phonics, music and visuals. As a primary school educator, I understand the importance of creating a fun, safe and stimulating environment, fostering a love for learning and creativity. It is important to give focused attention in these early years to help them build the self confidence that will help them later in life. This is not just a job to me, but a passion and calling to serve your family. My hourly rate is $25, and I am trusting that I will find the right family to pour my heart and soul into. I am flexible to be able to accommodate most schedules, and would prefer to work 3-4 full days a week, but I can be more available if needed.
