Hi there! My name is Mariah, I am 26 years old and I am currently looking for full/part-time employment within an awesome and welcoming family! I am currently saving to go back to school to study and would love the opportunity to pursue a job that I love and am passionate about in the meantime. I consider myself to be a very patient individual with a caring and genuine heart, purely having the best intentions for ever I have 13 years of experience with children from volunteering in daycares and in-class placements, to working as a nanny and a summer camp leader. I come from a fairly large family, being the oldest grandchild of 6 kids ranging from 5-16 years old, caring for each of them since they were born. I also am a proud older sister to my 7 year old little brother and 11 year old little sister (whom I love as if they were my own!) I have had the wonderful opportunity of meeting a lovely family from this website and nannied for them from 2018-202..., still occasionally watching their 2 little boys whenever they need a sitter. I've had the pleasurable opportunity to work with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, autism, as well as at-risk youth who are in need of a little bit EXTRA support and love! I am also proud to say that I just started a volunteer placement throughout the Children's Health Foundation, in hopes to further my passion in this field while helping out our little people who need it the most. I have a wide variety of certifications and completed courses ranging from Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Level C – including automated external defibrillation (AED), infection control, standard First Aid, conflict resolution, Animal First Aid and HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development. With my combination of knowledge and experience, I believe I have a great grasp on what children need from a loving and supportive caregiver - I truly enjoy discovering their unique personalities as well as giving them the chance to discover mine, all while offering my talents and desire for fun with creating wonderful memories.
