Hi, my name is Gabby. I have worked formally with children for the past two years at the City of Langley as a rec 2 worker helping to run a few programs such as Adventure Playground which was a pilot project with Fraser Health promoting advertous play in children. This past summer I led and coordinated a program called pop-up play for children ages 0-10. This program was outdoor based for children to come and play with our toys or do the arts and crafts we provided. I love working with children and truly enjoy creating an environment for them to learn and grow while having fun. I am first aid certified which includes my CPR certification for adults, children, and infants. I am a high school graduate with multiple honor roll acknowledgments. I currently attend the University of British Columbia and am studying psychology. Additionally, I am a varsity athlete for UBC playing softball. I am an extremely caring and driven individual who loves working with children. I lead a highly active lifestyle that makes up many of my hobbies, including playing competitive softball, participating in CrossFit, and running. I come from an extremely big family. I have coached children of all ages for around six years, making me quite comfortable with children.
