Nanny in St. Catharines, Ontario

Hi my name is Haley! I am currently in the Concurrent Education program at Brock University and my future job is to be a kindergarten teacher. I have strong social skills, I am patient, I have a positive attitude, I work well with co- workers and parents and I have great organizational skills. I am a very happy and positive person and I love to be around others. I am independent, but I also love to spend time with others and I love to form new relationships. I have tutoring experience and provide many activities for children. I have my own car, which helps with transportation. My preference is working with infants and young toddlers. I have a lot of experience working with infants and children. Last summer I worked as a full time live in nanny for newborn twins and a 3 year old. I was responsible for feedings, changing the babies, and sleep training. I also ran errands for the family like getting groceries for taking the children to appointments or outings. I have also worked as a daycare teacher, which I greatly enjoyed. Since September 2022, I have been a part- time nanny for an 8 week year- old. I was responsible for caring for the infant, while the family was working. I have lots of experience working in day camps as well. I was a day camp leader for 2 years where I worked with other leaders to supervise 40 children aged 7-9. I was an active living leader, which I was responsible for supervising birthday parties and other events. I was a camp leader for a museum and my job was to plan a daily day camp for children, as well as teaching children about the history. This currently/ past summer, I was a lead camp counsellor at a summer camp where I was in charge of planning and coordinating programs for children aged 7-8. Lastly, I taught children aged 3-6 how to skate, and I was a soccer coach for a team of 4 year olds. I also have experience with tutoring children.
