Hello family!!! My name is Ana Carolina and I’m a bilingual nanny (English/Portuguese-BR). I am a warm and nurturing nanny and nurse with 10 years of experience working with newborns, toddlers and children with special needs. I love to help families ease their day-to-day stresses by making sure their little ones are taken care of with lots of love and patience and I look forward to helping your children grow and learn in a happy, healthy environment! I trained as a nurse in Brazil and have been working with babies and children ever since. It's something I love. I'm currently in Brazil, but I may move in the short term. I had the opportunity to work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in a hospital in my hometown. It was my first hospital experience and, I confess, it was quite challenging at first, but I fell more and more in love with the type of unit and its specificities. More recently, I worked as a manager at Rescue Home Vila Betânia. I started working as a volunteer with babies and children and, after a year, my work was complemented by being hired as the shelter's supervisor. In this role, I was responsible for managing a team of workers specializing in babies and children, carrying out training, creating and implementing and participating in the Child and Adolescent Protection and Defense System. I've really enjoyed working with children, I really think it's a gift to see the world through their eyes. I'm happy to provide high-quality care for your children and I'm comfortable doing light housework and cooking if necessary.
