Hi! I’m Vivian (Viv). I am a third year student at UBC minoring in Early Childhood Education. I have plenty of experience teaching and working with kids (ages 4 - 17). I am very extroverted and am very conversational. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and enjoy doing hands on activities together, like cooking or arts and craft projects. I speak English and Mandarin (Natively), as well as Cantonese. I completed the International Baccalaureate (IB), and can also offer help with the PYP, MYP or IB program, as well as the ACT. In particular, I have a lot of experience working with kids trying to learn/practice a new language. I am able to cook and do household tasks, having lived independently (off campus, without access to a University restaurant) for the past two years. I am a Canadian citizen, however I have lived extensively abroad, having lived in Hong Kong, China and France (where I have been living for the past two years). As such, I can share a very different world view and cultural experiences. I currently live on campus at UBC.
