Hello families, my name is Erin. I am a fun, loving, nurturing, patient, very responsible and mature individual with experience caring for infants and children. I have done babysitting, been a mother's helper, and part-time nanny for a family for over 5 years previously. I really do enjoy being around children as they are so fun, interesting, and unique! It's a pleasure being able to watch kids learn and grow, and be part of their family team that helps guide them during their development. My personal interests and hobbies that fit in well with kids are: arts and crafts, singing, dancing, anything exploratory outdoors, being in nature, baking, board games, reading, recreational sports, and much more; I enjoy doing mostly anything with kids that is play-based and engaging. I have taken some continuing education courses in Early Childhood Education (some through Seneca College, and one by distance education that I am working on currently, and will be completed in October 2015). As well, if needed, I have experience in the areas of light housekeeping, baking, meal preparation, healthy eating and special dietary needs, professional pet care, and plant care.
