Hi there! My name is Taylor and I am a passionate and nurturing individual looking to help families out with their childcare needs. At this time I am focusing on supporting families with infants ages 0-18 months. I am a recent graduate of the Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies program at the University of Waterloo. My course work focused on a range of topics including relationships, child development, conflict resolution, and parenting. I am also a certified full spectrum birthworker, with experience and knowledge in supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My approach to care work is rooted in connection, compassion, and curiosity. I strive to create a balance between using research and evidence based practices with flexibility and meeting families and kids where they are at. I currently have part-time availability and am open to discussing a schedule that would work for everyone involved. I use a sliding scale of $20 - $25/hour and am happy to provide more information on this practice and how to determine your rate. It is important to note that I am a practicing doula meaning there will be times I will be on-call.
