Nanny in Waterloo, Ontario

Hi! My name is Nicole. I was born and raised in the city of Waterloo. I am 24 years old and the oldest of three siblings. I've completed a Bachelor of Arts in Honours Psychology with a minor in Education at Laurier. I am currently heading into my second, and final year, of the teacher education program at the University of Western Ontario for the the Primary/Junior division. I have a passion for children and learning. Some of my hobbies include: dance, science, reading, movies and biking. My experience with children has been in classroom contexts, an early childcare centre, with my siblings, and babysitting over the years. I have been in the classroom (elementary and high school) in which I have had the opportunity to plan lessons, work with students one-on-one and in small/large groups, teach lessons to full classrooms and work alongside students with behavioural and intellectual exceptionalities. I truly believed in the importance of continual learning and plan to implement this into daily activities accompanied by healthy eating, play, outdoor time, walks and reading. Additionally, as I am student teaching and volunteering in the London Catholic and Waterloo Catholic School Boards, I have an up-to-date VS Police Check. I am available Monday to Friday for whatever times needed throughout the summer months of July and August. I have my own vehicle for transpiration. As of September I will be student teaching in the Waterloo region and could continue helping out as required/needed. However, I will be out of province August 2-7.
