Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

My name is Rachel Totten and I will be available to start work at the end of August/ start of September. I have lots of experience with children and have spent 3 years now working as a caregiver to special needs children who are medically fragile and technology dependent. I currently work as a PSW and I am a registered respite worker in the city of Ottawa. The children I work with are between the ages of 0-18 and are completely dependent on myself and other Personal Support Workers for; mobility, dressing, toileting/ diaper changes, feeding, etc. I am also certified in first aid, CPR, and CPI. I love working with children and it truly is my passion. I plan to bring forward my skills from my past PSW work and volunteer experiences into this job field and provide compassionate and exceptional care for any child that I work with. I am a very positive and creative person and will encourage the health and growth of children to help them reach their full potential.
