Hi there! My name is Katie, I am 24 years old, and I recently graduated from Brock University with a Bachelors in Physical Education. I am headed to New Zealand in February of 2024 to complete my teaching degree internationally, and am looking for work in the meantime. I am a certified Red Cross First Responder, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and hold my High Five Principles of Child Development certificate. I have worked with all ages of children in a variety of settings, from infants as young as 4 days old helping with a foster family, to children aged 10-12 for after school care. I also have experience tutoring for high school Science and French. I also have access to my own transportation, I can provide meal preparation, housekeeping duties, tutoring (for school-aged children Grade 1-12), and pet care. I pride myself on my ability to create a positive environment for children to develop and learn, as well as building positive and trustworthy relationships with children and their families.
